Drumming has been a substantial part of Chris’ life from an early age. When he was nine, his dad, Steve Myers bought him a pair of drum sticks for Christmas. The following year (in a desperate attempt to save all the furniture Chris was beating up) his dad purchased a Ludwig drum set. Chris has been an addict of music from that day forward.
Chris was thrown in the business at a young age when he was asked to sit in with the Texas famous Cowjazz band in which his father played at the time. Chris has shared the stage, jamming with the surviving members of Bob Will’s Texas Playboys, and had the opportunity to open for Broken Teeth with the Coley Ramage Band. Most recently, Chris enjoyed the honor of headlining the first annual Sweetwater Music Festival.
Chris joined the Dusty Creek Band in 2008 and brings a solid rhythm and fantastic drumming style to the band.
