Lyndall began playing music from the age of 10 and by the age of 13 his parents were hauling him and his young bandmates to Country Music Jamborees all over the big country. Lyndall founded the Country music band "Pure Country" in 1978 and played venues around regionally until his twin sons were born, at which time he left the music scene to spend time with his family. When his children were grown in 2000 Lyndall began playing music again and played pedal steel guitar with the group "Hiway 208" from Snyder until 2005. Lyndall missed singing and in 2005, organized and founded the current band "Dusty Creek" along with fellow friends and muscians, Henry Mitchell, Doug Richburg, Shady Mitchell and Lyndall's son Jody Underwood on Drums. Lyndall serves the band as lead singer, front man and working manager, promoter, booking tour dates, and handling the finances of the band. Lyndall brings powerful vocals with a honky tonk style from rockabilly to ballads. Lyndall prides himself on the fact that he plays Texas Honky Tonk Dance Hall music and keeps it "Traditional". Lyndall was inspired early on by greats such as Price, Bush, Haggard, Jones, Strait and others.
